Introduction

This article targets JDK 5 + Tomcat 5.5.

JVM settings

Start tomcat with the following jvm option by adding it to JAVA_OPTS in catalina.bat / .sh

set JAVA_OPTS=-XrunpiAgent:server=enabled

System settings

Put the RAC (Remote Agent Controller) path in the PATH environment variable.??
